With regard to electrical power supplies, the ASN inspectors judged the EDF sites to be on the whole satisfactory but nonetheless there was room for improvement on the following points:  rigour in utilisation of the operating and maintenance documents (filling out of operational documents, updating of maintenance programmes);  physical condition of certain fuel storage equipment (piping corrosion, water infiltration);  management of fluids needed by the electricity generating sets (periodic analyses);  periodic inspections associated with the TAC (combustion turbine) on certain sites. 5. Operations in an accident situation could be improved. The PUI (on-site emergency plan) arrangements implemented by the sites are satisfactory. ASN finds that EDF needs to improve management of the fallback stations and certain agreements with outside organisations.
