It started in 2021. ASN is currently examining an application to modify the decrees authorising decommissioning of BNIs 165 et 166, for which some deadlines have already been exceeded. • In view of the numerous technical and organisational difficulties, particularly the lack of knowledge of the initial state of the shielded cells containing legacy waste, the end-of-retrieval deadline will probably be pushed back by several decades.
